    Dear Mr.Hypocrite,

You seem to be an intelligent man, yet you never seem to understand the hypocricy of the politicians in implementing the quota system. Ok. They want to implement reservation for the backward. Agreed, but the hypocricy is they dont want to exclude the creamy layer.

Cant you clearly understand that this is clearly a vote bank politics. They know that the creamy layer forms a chunk of the vote-bank and have access to the ballot. The rest are poor illiterates who vote for one party or the other based on the "money offers" they get.

Ramadoss and his ilk are interested only in the propogation of their lineage. This guy Ramadoss is a doctor, his son is a doctor and his grand children are waiting to become doctors. Tidbit: While Ramadoss is clamouring for the introduction of Tamil as a medium of instruction in even tamilnadu's medical colleges, his grand children are happily studying in a delhi public school with no hint of tamil whatsoever. His son Anbumani has put them in a delhi public school to groom them for AIIMS and his father is prophesizing the use of tamil. strange isnt it?

Ramadoss wants to ensure that the vanniya community from where he comes, enjoys the OBC quota status for years to come. I challenge him to go to the slums in saidapet, kodambakkam and other places, use his powers to send those children to good schools thereby bringing about real social upliftment.

Veeramani, another casteist, fares better. I came to know that he runs some schools for the poor.

Mr.Bruno, instead of writing on these blogs and clamouring for reservation, why dont you sponsor some children from the slums and send them to good schools? I bet you can never do this. even if you think about doing this, you are married and your wie will never allow you to do this.she will want your money to be spent on her kids instead.

I wear a thread around my body (the only distinction between the forward caste and the backward caste according to the hypocritical politicians). I am not married and I sponsor the education of children of slums.

Actions speak better than words, you dumbo. Now who is a casteist? you or I? I work for universal brotherhood and you are rooted towards OBCs.

    Dear Mr.Raghavendra

    Can you answer these question

    1. Why are YOU (from Forward Community concerned about Creamy layer)

    Please give the answer

    And then....

I don't have the habit of telling everyone as to how I help students from slums....

Please answer the questions as to why YOU ARE INTERESTED IN CREAMY LAYER.

    Dear Mr.Bruno,

You are of the opinion that the reserved seats are in anyway out of the forward caste reach. So why should they bother about the creamy layer.

I guess by introducing the creamy layer, the really downtrodden may get benefitted like the cobbler's son and the sweeper's daughter.Having then benefitted and enjoyed the quota for a generation, they should relinquish the status as a BC and move to the category of forward caste.By doing this the percentage of reservation can be gradually reduced.

About ten to twenty years ago, the lingayats of karnataka were removed from the category of OBCs and were added to the list of Forward Castes. This happened about 20 years ago before the advent of dirty politics. This sort of conversion can never happen again as Mr.Deve Gowda is severely opposing the inclusion of "Gowdas"(another powerful and traditional "land owner" caste) and vokaligas to the forward caste list.

The presumption that the reservation is all about social empowerment where the economic status is never in question is a specious argument.

When you have money you have everything. Who bothers about Vijay Amritraj's caste anymore? With access to money everything gets pushed to the background.

    Dear Mr. Bruno,

As a sequel to my previous post, with the success of a few people in any caste I agree that the caste cannot be deleted form the OBC and branded as a forward caste. At any given point of time there will be always poor people in any given caste.

Then what is the solution? The solution then is to give reservation based on the economic status of the family and not on the basis of caste.

I think this is a logical solution which would be agreed upon by all people across all castes.

I have already answered about these issues in detail

Please see my post where I have given a different concept of Creamy layer, which I feel is better than your concept of Economy alone....
